Kenjhons Serrano

KENJHONS has already gained worldwide recognition as a dancer and choreographer when he became the driving force behind hip hop stalwarts The Philippine Allstars’ four international dance championship titles which they won in Los Angeles, Italy, Las Vegas and Africa. His skill as a choreographer was also brought to the fore through the First Day High and First Day Funk commercial campaigns for Rexona, and was handpicked to be the primary dancer and lead talent for Nestea Fit and Smart Bro commercials. Currently, he leads and choreographs for the dance crew “Rockstars”.

His talents, however, do not end with dancing. Kenjhons amps it up and takes it to a whole new level as an artist, songwriter and music producer for R&B and hiphop records. This guy knows his stuff, having undergone vocal and songwriting training with current Def Jam recording artist August, a fellow Filipino-Canadian who has written hit songs for Enrique Iglesias, Musiq Soulchild and Justin Bieber. After venturing into his own and finding his forte in music in the Philippines, he released songs such as the soulful hits “Your Angel”, “Di Ko Na Kaya” and “Caught Up”, a song that rose up the Wave 89.1 and Magic 89.9 charts. But perhaps the song that lingered in everyone’s consciousness is “Mainit”, his collaboration with Q-York Entertainment that became an anthem for Filipinos all over the world to walk with their head held high.

His insatiable interest in music and intense skills as a performer enabled him to open for international acts such as Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, The Pussycat Dolls and Ne-Yo. He can easily step up to the plate, having performed on his own on various stages in the UK, Singapore, USA, and all over the Philippines.

He has recently been signed as a contract artist under Viva Records, who have also released his first solo album, entitled “Matinik” with a catchy dance track carrier single with the same title. His first music video also rose up the MYX music video charts.

Most recently, he was one of the official interpreters of the 2016 Philpop Music Festival held at the KIA Theater and also impressed the judges on Asia’s Got Talent 2017 as part of the group “Stripboys”.
