Kare Adea is former principal dancer of Ballet Philippines. Sha had been dancing for 15 years with the company in which she essayed several lead roles including Giselle in Giselle, princess Aurora in Sleeping beauty, Snow White in Snow White, Oryang in Rock Supremo, Encantada and Babaylan in Encantada and as the mother in their recent production, Opera: A Rebirth in Arabesque. She also choreographed contemporary pieces in the company's 2010 and 2011 N Neo Filipino entitled "Reysing", "The bar" and was one of the contributing choreographers for Ballet Philippines' “Sarongbanggi” and “Awitin mo at Isasayaw ko”. In 2013 she received an artist fellowship grant from ACC (Asian Cultural Councila) and stayed in New York to explore art and dance for 7 months. She is currently based in Manila as a freelance dance artist, choreographer and teacher
