Igor Barberic is a well-known singer, choreographer and director of many musicals both abroad and in his homeland Croatia. In his early career, he went through education for all three elements needed for musicals: acting, dancing and singing.
Prior to moving abroad, he started his dance career as a member of the Study for Contemporary Dance. Later on, Igor performed in Germany's "Chicago", "Cats", "Saturday Night Fever", "A Chorus Line", "Grease" and "Les Miserables".
His first job as a choreographer at the Düsseldorf National Theater in “One Woman Cabaret” was a great success. He also directed the musical "Patients".
Igor has been awarded for many choreographies worldwide, which is why he is considered one of the most influential people for the development of the musical in Croatia.
Igor is not only successful in the theater but also as a choreographer for numerous TV shows.
In his career he worked on some of the most famous and prominent musicals such as "Chicago," "Take Away," "The Story of the West," "Aida," "Black House," "Hair". Recently, in Czech Republic he set up the musical "Witches of Eastwick", "Hair" and "Flashdance" while in Finland he did "Little Shop of Horror", "La Cage Aux Folles", "Evita", "Fame".
