Charlie van Rooyen is a professional Dancer, Choreographer, Creative Director, Teacher, and TV producer . He is the Runner up on the TV show So You Think You Can Dance South Africa Season 3. He was a guest Dancer and Choreographer on the TV show Strictly Come Dancing South Africa season 7 and 8 and Idols SA for 4 seasons. He has performed on almost every TV award show in South Africa.
Charlie is a versatile dancer in the genres of Contemporary dance, Tap, Jazz, Bollywood, Modern, Ballet, Hip Hop, Kwaito, Pantsula, Commercial dance, Latin , Salsa, Spanish Dance, Afro Fusion, and African dance. Charlie has been performing locally and internationally for the past 15 years. He has worked with some of the industry's biggest directors, producers, musicians, dancers, choreographers, singers, actors and creative directors. Charlie has choreographed dance works for different companies locally and internationally. He choreograph' s different corporate events and shows and teach at different schools, universities and companies in South Africa and around the world. He has performed on various television channels and shows with big artist like, Brandy, John Legend, Fresh Montana, Trey songs, Omarian just to mention a few.
