DanceStar is pleased to announce this year's Croatia Qualifier. We invite you to come and experience DanceStar Croatia Qualifier in the beautiful town of Opatija. This beautiful town is located on the Kvarner coast of Croatia. It is known for a charming coast with a rich history and culture, many fantastic locations, impressive monuments, well-manicured parks and magnificent villas that are waiting to be discovered. 

Opatija is one of the most popular tourist destination in Croatia and beyond. It is a thriving and vibrant town throughout the year and the list of cultural and entertainment events goes on and on. 

We look forward to a great competition in Opatija where talented dancers will perform in a fantastic atmosphere.

Event and Location information

The center where the qualifying competition takes place is named after Mr. Drago Gervais, one of the most important figures in the culture of this region. The place where the Gervais Center is located has been associated with culture since the beginning of Opatija's history.

Today, Gervais Center has a medium hall, with a capacity for slightly more than 300 people, located on the ground floor. On the first floor there is a large hall with more than 490 built-in seats intended for theater and concert productions. In the basement there is a large club area, with a separate entrance, which can accommodate up to 1,000 people. Its location on the 'green peninsula' of the Angiolina park has brought cultural events back to where they belong.
