DanceStar South Africa Qualifier

DanceStar South Africa Qualifier are part of the DanceStar World Qualifiers Series where dancers can qualify for DanceStar World Finals. Any DanceStar Qualifier is open to all amateur and professional dancers. Any dance school, academy, crew or individual has the right to participate at a DanceStar Qualifier.

DanceStar is pleased to announce this year’s South Africa Qualifier in Cape Town. We invite you to come and experience DanceStar South Africa Qualifier in the beautiful Cape Town, one of the most iconic cities in the world, home to Africa’s innovative artists, a town with a cool urban edge.

This peninsula is nature’s masterpiece, dominated by an imposing mountain spine, crisscrossed by valleys, and constrained by sheer cliffs rising from the oceans.

Congratulations to all qualified routines which will for the South Africa National Team and represent their country at World Finals 2019.

Event and Location information

Cape Town is a port city on South Africa’s southwest coast, on a peninsula beneath the imposing Table Mountain. Slowly rotating cable cars climb to the mountain’s flat top, from which there are sweeping views of the city, the busy harbor and boats heading for Robben Island, the notorious prison that once held Nelson Mandela, which is now a living museum.

The airport is about 22km (14 miles) from Cape Town’s city centre and the N2 highway is the fastest and most direct route between the two. Excluding any unexpected delays, it should take you about 30 minutes to drive into the centre
